When Katharine McPhee and Vanessa Hudgens sang side by side in a holiday medley that kicked off the “Christmas in Washington” concert on TNT Wednesday, they almost looked like mother and daughter. Not that the “Idol” runnerup looked bad, but that “High School Musical” star can make anybody look old. Singing holiday standards may not be her strongest suit, but she was on stage a lot for the event anyway – more at least than McPhee, who at least could fillin as her older sister. Host again was D
